JetStor at VMUG UserCon 2015: StorTrends 3600i

JetStor attended the annual VMUG User Conference for Western PA on Tuesday, March 3, 2015.  The all-day event was held at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in Downtown Pittsburgh hosting a mix of VMware partners, customers, and employees.

JetStor VMUG UserCon 2015

The event was kicked off with breakfast, a keynote speech from Chris McCain of VMware, and the opening of the exhibit hall. With education sessions, product demonstrations, and partner speeches being spaced throughout the day, attendees had plenty of time to visit vendor tables and participate in giveaways.  Lunch was served for all those in attendance and provided a great networking opportunity among the local VMware community.UserCon is always an event we look forward to attending as it allows us to showcase our latest technology and interact with a very hands-on community.

JetStor/StorTrends Table at UserCon

This year, we were proud to share a table with American Megatrends Incorporated (AMI) to give users a look at the StorTrends 3600i All Flash Array.  With JetStor acting as a value-added reseller, the 3600i is the newest solution stemming from the efforts of both companies.  We’re excited to begin rolling out this product, as it’s poised to bring tremendous value to small- and medium-sized businesses in 2015 and beyond.Representatives from both JetStor and StorTrends were on hand at VMUG UserCon to showcase this all-new array, which uniquely utilizes the strengths of solid-state drives (SSDs).  With VMware users from so many different industries attending the event, it was a great time to highlight the various improvements it provides over traditional environments as well as it’s ability to be tailored to unique business needs. The StorTrends 3600i stands to set the new standard through increased efficiency, higher speeds, and less overhead, all at a drastically more affordable price point.  With the industry moving towards all flash environments, we’re proud to be at the forefront of it.Thank you to all those who stopped by our table and spent some time with us on Tuesday as well as entered our RC Drone giveaway. We had a great time playing Super Mario Kart with attendees and talking about the future of all flash storage with everyone.Contact us for more information on the StorTrends 3600i and other storage solutions and a representative will be in touch shortly.
